Product Overview
24 Wire Slip Ring is an electromechanical device used for rotating equipment, whose main function is to transmit electrical energy, signals, or data between fixed and rotating components. Its core structure consists of 24 independent conductive rings (usually made of copper alloy or precious metal materials) and matching brushes (carbon brushes or metal brushes), which achieve continuous transmission of current or signals through the sliding contact between the brushes and the conductive rings. Slip Rings are usually separated by insulating materials to ensure electrical isolation between channels.
working principle
When the rotating device rotates, the conductive ring of the 24 Wire Slip Ring rotates synchronously with the rotating component, while the electric brush is fixed at the stationary end. The electric brush is in contact with the conductive ring through spring pressure, thereby maintaining electrical connection during rotation and avoiding wire breakage due to twisting. The 24 wire design means that 24 independent signals or power can be transmitted simultaneously, making it suitable for scenarios that require multi-channel parallel transmission.

Precautions for use
Installation specifications
Ensure that the concentricity between the 24 Wire Slip Ring and the rotating shaft is less than 0.05mm to avoid abnormal wear of the brush caused by eccentricity.
Use a torque wrench to tighten the screws to the manufacturer's specified torque (usually 2-5N · m).
Load Matching
To avoid exceeding the rated current/voltage, instantaneous overload should not exceed 150% of the rated value (duration<1 second).
When transmitting high-frequency signals, impedance matching (such as 50 Ω or 75 Ω) is required to reduce signal attenuation.
dynamic equilibrium
High speed rotating applications (>2000 RPM) require a dynamic balance test (G2.5 or above) on the 24 Wire Slip Ring to prevent vibration damage.
Cable management
The outgoing cable should be firmly fixed to avoid torque pulling caused by rotation.
Power lines and signal lines need to be routed separately to reduce electromagnetic interference.
Emergency plan
Configure backup slip rings or redundant channels, and recommend dual loop parallel design for critical systems.
